People
I love meeting people. I’m curious, you’re intriguing — so drop me a line!
Robots
I like talking with robots, as it taps into my logical and normative side. The challenge also reminds me that communication is about how your message is received, not how it is sent.
Endorphins
As one of those 5-a.m.-people, I’ve an early-morning running group, Run! Zombies!, and sometimes join the city’s various social running groups. For mental and physical flexibility I’ve experiences and exercise at Serratus and Zurich’s free gyms.
Contemporary culture
Different ways of thinking excite me. Art must provoke emotion — even discomfort. I enjoy works that challenge and incite reflection. Interning for Austria’s foremost contemporary ensemble, Klangforum Wien, introduced me to modern music and the pianist Marino Formenti.
Taste
Work as plongeur in the kitchen of a private members’ club gave me a better appreciation of food, and the intensity (and humour) of professional kitchens. And if you like eating, well then you’ve gotta like cooking too. I’m a regional ambassador for molecular-gastronomy database FoodPairing.
Type II fun
The dangerous things my mother doesn’t like me doing often fall in the type II category
Changing cultures and forming communities
Current projects & campaigns
At the moment I’m interested in blood; pricing; emigrants (as one myself); Zürich’s urban swimming infrastructure; where to invest the hours of life; augmented reality & virtual reality; my neighbourhood; deliberative thought, liberal democracy, and marketing — toujours marketing!
So, now you know more about me. Your turn: where do you suggest we meet ?
